Oak Bay Campground / Day Use Park – First Come First Served, No Reservations
Upper Oak Bay – scenic wooded campsites with beach access. Twenty (20) campsites, each with picnic table and fire ring. Fees: $25 per night for sites with electrical hookups (sites 13-19, 21, 22); $20 per night for sites without electricity (sites 1-12.) Amenities: Playground, picnic areas, beach access, fresh water, toilet, trash container. Local Attractions: Fishing, bird watching, Port Hadlock, Port Ludlow, Chimacum and Port Townsend historic sites, shops and restaurants. Map and campsite diagram
Lower Oak Bay – scenic campsites with beach access and boat ramp. Eight (8) campsites, each with picnic table and fire ring. Fee: $20 per night. Amenities: Beach access, fresh water, toilet, trash container. Local Attractions: Fishing, bird watching, Port Hadlock, Port Ludlow, Chimacum and Port Townsend historic sites, shops and restaurants. |“In the State of Washington it is illegal to open or consume alcoholic beverages in a public place” (see Title 66.44.100 of the RCW). This law applies in all Jefferson County parks, campgrounds, and recreation facilities. Exceptions to this law can be granted by the Washington State Liquor Control Board (see Title 314 of the WAC) in the form of a banquet permit or a special occasion license for example. All proposals to serve alcohol at an event in a Jefferson County Park are subject to approval by Jefferson County.
